Rollover Classic FAQs
What is the difference between the Classic and Flexi?
Both the Classic and Flexi share the same core Rollover technology and are designed to make laminating, mounting and vinyl application faster and easier. The main differences come down to size, flexibility and available options.
The Flexi range was developed for businesses that need easier site access or have limited workshop space. The tables can be dismantled for transport and installation, making them ideal for locations where access is challenging. They are also available in smaller sizes, including the compact F1510.
The Classic range is designed for larger production environments and is available in widths of 1700mm with lengths extending up to 8 metres. It also offers options not available on the Flexi, including twin rollers for increased productivity and an extended roller height option that allows thicker substrates to be processed.
If you're unsure which model is best suited to your business, we're happy to discuss your workflow, available space and typical job sizes to help you choose the right solution.
Is the Classic designed for high-volume production?
Yes, the Classic range is particularly well suited to high-volume production environments where large graphics, signage panels and printed materials are being processed every day.
With table lengths available up to 8 metres, the Classic provides ample workspace for handling oversized jobs efficiently. It is a popular choice for established sign makers, wide format printers and graphics producers who need to laminate, mount and apply materials at scale while maintaining consistent quality.
The Classic can also be configured with options such as twin rollers, allowing operators to work more efficiently when processing a steady flow of work, and an extended roller height option that allows thicker substrates to be processed. Combined with its robust construction and large working area, the Classic is designed to support demanding production schedules and long-term daily use.
Ideal for businesses where throughput, consistency and productivity are high priorities.
What print widths suit the Classic range?
The Classic range is designed to comfortably handle the print widths most commonly used in the sign and graphics industry. With a table width of 1700mm, it is ideally suited to popular media widths such as 1520mm, providing enough space to position, trim and laminate graphics without working right on the edge of the table.
The additional width is also beneficial when mounting graphics to standard panel sizes, including 1500 x 3050mm sheets. This makes the Classic a popular choice for businesses producing signage, window graphics, wall graphics and other large format applications.
If you're regularly working with wide media or large rigid substrates, the extra workspace offered by the Classic can make handling materials easier, improve accuracy and help streamline production.
Can the Classic handle rigid boards and panels?
Yes, the Classic is designed to work with a wide range of rigid boards and panels used throughout the sign, display and graphics industries. Its large work surface makes it easy to position substrates accurately and apply graphics with consistent pressure across the entire panel.
Common materials include ACM (aluminium composite material), acrylic, PVC foam board, corflute, aluminium and other flat sheet products used for indoor and outdoor signage. The generous table size is particularly useful when working with full-size sheets, allowing operators to mount graphics without the panel overhanging the work area.
For businesses regularly producing shop signage, exhibition displays, wayfinding signs or promotional graphics, the Classic provides a practical and efficient solution for handling both standard and oversized panels.
Why do established sign shops choose the Classic?
Many established sign shops choose the Classic because it is designed to keep pace with the demands of a busy production environment. As workloads increase, businesses often need more workspace, greater flexibility and equipment that can handle a wider variety of jobs efficiently.
The Classic is well suited to processing large format prints, full-size signage panels and oversized graphics, while its range of sizes allows businesses to select a table that matches their workflow. Options such as twin rollers and increased roller clearance also provide additional capability for shops working with thicker substrates or higher production volumes.
For many sign makers, the Classic becomes a central workstation used across multiple stages of production, helping to improve consistency, reduce handling time and make day-to-day operations more efficient.
